In a world of mass production, where fast fashion floods the market with disposable products destined for landfill, Alejandra Collective stands apart. We are committed to creating accessories that not only embody timeless style but are also crafted with sustainability at their core.
Our approach is simple: quality over quantity. Each of our products is made using durable, environmentally friendly materials, designed to last for years.
But sustainability is about more than just accessories—it’s about people. We proudly collaborate with five artisan workshops, supporting around 200 skilled artisans across Colombia. Our partners include Wayuu artisans known for their vibrant, handwoven mochila bags; Usiacurí artisans who create intricate Iraca palm designs; Nariño artisans skilled in leatherwork; Mompox artisans who produce exquisite filigree jewellery; and our leather workshop led by Edgar Beltran Jaramillo.
We prioritise slow, responsible production, working directly with artisans and suppliers who share our values of sustainability and ethical sourcing. For us, it’s essential to know the people behind our products—ensuring they receive fair wages, work in safe conditions, and have opportunities for personal and cultural development.
At Alejandra Collective, sustainability isn’t just a promise—it’s at the heart of everything we do
Brand Values
Ethical Craftsmanship
At Alejandra Collective, we believe in creating accessories that do more than just look beautiful—they make a difference. Each piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans who are paid fairly for their work, ensuring that traditional techniques and cultural heritage are preserved. Our commitment to ethical craftsmanship means you can wear our designs knowing they were made with respect, care, and purpose.
Sustainability at Heart
Sustainability is more than a promise it’s a practice. Our leather is a byproduct of Colombia’s farming industry, making it both luxurious and environmentally responsible. Our silver is hypoallergenic 970 silver and our palm straw is ethically harvested. By producing in small batches, we minimise waste and ensure that each item is crafted with care. Even our packaging is eco-friendly, with recyclable, biodegradable materials.
Integrity and Transparency
We believe that trust is earned through honesty. From the materials we use to the artisans we partner with, we are transparent about our processes. Our customers deserve to know the story behind their accessories, from the sustainable sourcing of our materials to the fair treatment of our artisans.
Creativity
Creativity is at the heart of everything we do. We blend classic elegance with modern design, creating accessories that are unique, sophisticated, and full of personality. Our designs are inspired by travel, culture, and the artistry of the talented hands that bring them to life.
OUR PROCESS

#1 Inspiration and design
We draw inspiration from a world of possibilities.European and Australian fashion trends, the rich colours of Australian landscapes, and our love for travel. Our design team explores a variety of materials, experimenting with textures, colours, and techniques. Every idea is carefully sketched, refined, and perfected, balancing sophisticated femininity with modern functionality.

#2 Material Selection
Quality is non-negotiable at Alejandra Collective. We source only the finest materials, including buttery soft Colombian full grain and suede leather, hypoallergenic 970 silver, ethically harvested palm straw, and responsibly sourced acrylic. Each material is chosen for its durability, sustainability, and ability to enhance the beauty of our designs.

#3 Sampling and Quality Control:
Before any design becomes part of our collection, it goes through a rigorous sampling process. We work closely with our artisan workshops to create initial samples, testing the design’s structure, fit, and finish. Our quality control expert ensures that each piece meets our high standards for craftsmanship and durability. Only the best designs are approved for production.

#4 Production with Skilled Artisans:
Once our designs are finalised, they are sent to our artisan workshops in Colombia, where skilled artisans bring them to life using traditional techniques. From handwoven Iraca palm bags to intricate filigree jewellery, each piece is a testament to the talent and dedication of our artisans. We maintain strong relationships with these workshops, ensuring fair working conditions and supporting sustainable practices.

#5 Final Quality Check and Delivery:
Before our accessories make their way to Australia, they undergo a final quality check. Our team ensures that each piece is flawless, meeting our standards for beauty, functionality, and durability. Finally, our products are carefully packaged in eco-friendly, recyclable materials, ready to be delivered to you.

Sourcing with Purpose
We carefully select materials that are sustainable, durable, and kind to the planet. From by-product leather and handwoven palm straw to hypoallergenic 970 silver, every material is chosen with intention. Each piece is crafted to last, designed for women who value both beauty and responsibility.

Packaging with Care
Sustainability extends beyond our products. We use minimal, eco-friendly packaging that protects your accessory while reducing waste. Every detail, from design to delivery, is considered to ensure a lighter footprint.
